Default wiseco forged turbo pistons on a 1.6 gready turbo?

Am looking at putting an uprated set if pistons and rings and headgasket on my 1.6 mk1. Has any one got any ideas or advise for getting the compressin down?
got a gready turbo kit for it and need to do all that befor i have it fitted. Any idea are welcomed lol

But i dont want to blow up my engine. i ony have factory engine parts on it wont the make it unreliable and likely to make it go pop? what u got on urs???

Nothing on the inside. You don't often see Greddy guys building their engines. By all means, if you have the money, do it, but it's not strictly necessary unless you track your car. Have you upgraded the rear end or transmission? Those are more likely to go.

our motors are the stoutest things in the cars man. The trannys and rear ends not to mention chasis will go first if you do the job properly.

Some have gone higher in the 1.8's, but 270whp is the upper end with great tuning.
