I just used a little bit of liquid teflon tape to seal my oil drain, hasn't leaked a drop, and doesn't look like ***. I know JB weld works, but its supposed to fix broken things, isn't it? At least thats what I thought. More power to ya if it works and seals and lasts as long as a welded job would, but personally, I'll avoid it at all costs.

 

im in the process of jb-welding a bov flange to some intake piping ;p
