it seems pretty expensive if it didnt work, but for ease of installation it seems like it could be worth it.

Let me know if anyone has experience with this, or suggestions to get a little extra kick out of my little pinata.

I could be worth it depending on the warranty... Considering its the only decent hp supercharger out there not bad.

I wouldn't bother with it, what with all the superior positive-displacement blower options out there from FastForward, BEGi and BRP/Barker.

There are at least two people I can think of using them over on M.net. One of them has an automatic transmission on his Miata. For ease of install and decent little kick in power above 4000 RPM, it definitely does just fine. I don't believe VF is building these kits for the Miata anymore, though.

it doesn't even make 100rwhp by 4k, my 1.6 does that.

read old posts at M.net it was bashed untill the maker decided to be done with it and never posted anymore and looked like he stopped producing them as well.

Not to mention that fact that it is incredibly overpriced. Bracket, pulley, piping, SC.....

I think for about the same price you can look into a Kenne Bell kit. Or the FFS.

Agreed... is you go s/c get positive displacement. The only advantage to centrifugal blowers is their price... which this one seems to be priced to high for that advantage.

I've heard negative things about the Kenne Bell kit fitment, and for a while, they weren't selling them. They may be back in production now though.

For budget S/C the FFS and BRP(stage one tuning) kits seem to be the best bang for the buck without fitment issues.

You would be better off with a FI vendor that's bigger in the miata community, that you can count of for support. I was surprised that the VF (previously Z - Engineering) kits are still available for sale.
