you need ducting like the factory ducting, from the back of the intercooler to the radiator. on all sides.
Think of something like the plenum for a forced air furnace. you want that connecting the back of the intercooler to the rad.
Otherwise it would be like having floor registers with your forced air furnace, but no plenum getting the air to it. Extreme, I know but its the same mindset.
My Miata overheated with no under tray, and once I put the modified under tray back on (modified for IC piping) the overheating issues went away.

Yeah, pretty much going to duct the big front mouth to the radiator and have 2 big fans on new radiator.
I'm installing the fans on the stock radiator tomorrow(if I don't bitch it due too heat). Just trying to think of ways to make it more reliable/long term as pertaining to wiring and constant on/temp controlled. I think constant on is the best choice. City traffic wise it'll pull air through the intercooler and radiator and "should" help with heat soak.
In other news heres a nice pull vidya

^This
I'm sure the woman walking disapproved. I shifted right next to her and the flat shift/anti lag enabled.
GoPro never does audio any justice.
The car is LOUD. I need to order one of those magnaflows. Just trying to figure out size. It'll give me some straight for the exhaust tip too. Mines currently burning my bumper :(

Wired in my 2 fans and works great. 208F mean temp after heatsoak.
But. I'm on my 2nd GM IAT sensor of the last 2 weeks and it just failed. Weird.
It rained in Florida (imagine that) and I did a rolling clutch kick because road rage. Daymn, it was awesome.

I'm thinking about installing my framerails tomorrow. But I dunno with this weather.
Also another interesting development, my radio trends to stay on for a few seconds after I turn the car off. Really nice when I want to hear the rest of a song :P I'm thinking I need to remove and clean my ignition cylinder.

Upgraded to MS2/extra 3.3.2 30mins ago.
I like it, it had a few hiccups with the settings being different.
Like the Conflict with additional injectors (pt2/4) error. That's all sorted out. And I had to use my crazy MAT correction settings though to be able to idle.
100F+ IAT @ idle heat soak sucks. No IACv sucks too.
Installing new radiator tomorrow.

I can't remember if the ms2 has a cruise control port but you can hook up the cruise control from the back of your speedometer and have the iacv activate at a certain mph. I have mine at 20mph for safe measure so I don't stall out on hard deceleration or when I put the ac on.

The car ran a tad rich for the MAT sensor thing. Almost fouling out my IK24s caused a little lameness.
I love the way the car looks and feels though. A little more ALLOFIT would be great though.
Got dat K&N brah
Seems my 4an line for the wastegate doesnt like the heat also was coming in contact with the blanket. Also the banjo bolt was pretty loose nice find.
As expected blue turns purple.
