The best "type S" knock off is easily the NRG type S. It will sound the same and uses much better internal construction and seals.

But...it's loud as ****. I mean retarded loud. It was so loud that I could easily hear it over Buffon's 3" straight pipe at full throttle. But then again, I do love obnoxiously loud bov's, so it didn't bother me one bit.

Just a fair warning for those looking for a Type S without all the original Type S issues and leaks.

Historically they leak under high boost pressures. Mine was pretty flaky over 20psi.

they're both knockoffs. of course they do. there are very few bov's out there these days using piston style setup. all of them are well over my $100 limit
