Default KKK K03 VW Audi Turbo

So after reading books, searching forums, and e-bay... Here is what i baught. I won a k03 turbo from an audi S4. This is the same turbo that is used on the 1.8t. I have researched the compressor maps from this turbo, the 15g, 14g, and 13g, and decided for my street daily driving, this was the quick spooling turbo for me. I know that it will run out of steem on the hi revs, but thats ok. I plan on making my own manafold, down pipe and intake piping. I plan to run the intercooler from a saab 900, and use the vortech fuel pressure regulator to up my fuel pressure on boost. I had plan on adjusting my base timing insted of a timing controller.. What do you guys think??

Those turbos are soooo small, I hope it's for a 1.6. You should have full boost at like 2k rpm though, haha.

Get a Bipes timing control. I ran one for 2 months and it works great. I'll have one for sale shortly if you're interested.

can't sell it, told the guy that bought the audi he could have it as a spare, but they're only about 100 bucks used.

Check the VW/Audi forums, they're expensive on fleabay.

My next question is for someone that has one of these turbos layin around.. Can someone tell me if the k03 can have the center section clocked in order to get the oil outlet pointed down. And if you have this turbo just layin around, id love to get some measurements from it.. Thanx

no, they're bolted together, not banded like most.
