Default Kraken turbo not fitting?

HI guys - hoping maybe someone has an engine bay pic of this same build, or any tips on how to figure this one out!

So its an 02 NB2, i got the Kraken top mount kit. My turbo is meant to be clocked to the driver side wing of car, not up or down like most other builds. (Confirmed this with Kraken guy, and the bracket for my Wastegate only fits in this direction too..)

My issue is, however, the adapter plug that goes into the turbo and onto the intercooler piping literally can not fit - the strut bar brace is totally in the way. Attaching a video below.

Its also weird to me (I am a total noob, so yell at me if im wrong again here) that all my silicone elbows are smaller on one side, yet the intercooler piping i was given is too big to fit any of them.

Thanks guys !

Just take off the bar, you won't notice it's gone, because it's not doing anything. If you want confirmation, take a look at the cars around the forum with track records. You'll notice a lack of strut bars on the vast majority, if not all, of them, which is telling in itself.
