Default LC-2 Wideband install W/ Mega Squirt

LC-2 wideband setup with DB gauge and Mega Squirt.
New to the miata tuning seen and having some trouble wrapping this whole wiring stuff up in my head. I've watched countless videos, read forums, manual, ex. and still don't get it.
I really just dont understand what to do with the O2 sensor they gave me. Some videos replace the stock one, some use the stock one, some just splice into the stock one? So do i use the O2 sensor they gave me in a separate bung hole? then how do i connect it to mega squirt?

There's a Megasquirt subforum here, find that and start reading. I swear there have been 10 wideband questions in the past 3 days.

Quick answer, the wideband needs power, ground, and the signal wire run to an analog input in Megasquirt. You can weld a secondary bung so you don't have to mess with the factory one (in case you ever want to use the stock ECU), or replace it with the wideband. If you want a clean install and don't want to ever go back to the stock ECU, use the factory signal wire. If you want to run a separate wire, then do so.

We can't tell you any more information until you tell us what car and Megasquirt you have.

Watch the video from the CarPassionChannel on youtube. Incredibly helpful. You will replace the stock o2 sensor. Snip the end of the stock o2 sensor off and solder it onto your wideband o2 sensor. That way it plugs into your harness

Just use a crimp connector or, if you are going to soldee the connection, mechanically attach the wires to each other (linemans splice or something) before hand. Solder is not for mechanically holding wires next to each other.

Other than that, that video is how I did mine.
