Also, called it:
you really saw that wrong, you get the same invite, you are also welcome to come to the club tomorrow night and meet some of my friends.

Then act like it. Stop acting like ******** and help the guy that doesnt know. When someone comes to the gym and needs to learn how to defend himself, i show him, most times people revert back to what they know. If its wrong through repetition and ONLY through repetition am i able to train him/her to defend themselves correctly. I came here because I heard you guys were smart. I heard that THIS place had the info. What i did not know was how stingy some can be about sharing.
When someone is wrong, tell them, but explain it in a way that they can understand. "No" doesn't always work, even a five year old will say "why" EVERYONE here was taught by mommy and daddy the word "hot" but no one learned until they touched it. Let me touch it, then help me understand why it hurt. THAT'S what im asking, Help me understand WHY? can someone please do that?

Yes. We've been trying all along by telling you to stop, and read.

Info is right here, everything you need. We just won't spoon feed it into your mouth.

You are not a child, so don't act like one. Only a child wants to be spoon fed. Adults eat for themselves.

So to summarize:
STOP acquiring parts
START reading the stickies, faq's, and build threads
GET RID OF most the ricetastic turbo parts you have already
FIGURE OUT which parts will actually work before you buy them

make sense?

You just made our point.

The information is all here. Search for it. We won't spoon feed you the basics, because if you don't know them already then we will just be spinning our wheels.

You don't go into a college algebra class, complain about not understanding the material, and berate the instructor when you haven't even passed remedial math.

Stingy? Have you seen all the build threads? Have you seen the stickies? Have you seen the DIY section at all? Clearly you have not.

If you think that we are stingy with information because we won't repost it all for you in this thread, then you came to the wrong place. There is more information here than you could ever read, all free. You just need to put a little effort into searching.

You are nothing new. We have seen 100s of you come through here. Some of them learn from us being "********" and end up building really nice cars and having a lot of fun, and becoming part of the community. Others get pissy and leave. It doesn't matter to us.

7 second Honda, you mean the 1/8 mile, right?

Has anyone ever heard a better excuse for laziness and screwing something up other than "I'll be swapping out parts so fast I won't have time to research."?

Quoted for truth. See the second thread I started.

Synopsis, I asked a stupid *** question, got told to ******* search noob.

Instead of getting mad, I searched. And HOLY ****! My question was stupid and had been answered in detail about 400 times.

I'm still here too.

I'm cool with you doing stupid **** though. Make sure you take lots of pictures and document stupidity if you choose to take this road.

All we need now is him to do work and maybe we'll get a new fae fae thread? I won't get too excited till the talk becomes reality though.

Eh I would be interested if he was talking about throwing a bunch of money at a built motor and big turbo.

But a fae fae thread of ebay parts with a 200hp goal would just be terrible.

That's funny right there. And so funny because it's true.

Sometimes I actually hate that there is so much info because I want to just start a thread and have someone take me to painless, easy, glory.

But then I search and run into a bunch of other **** that teaches me a all kinds of other stuff along the way. I may even run into a better idea from what I had that makes my life easier now and/or later.

It's that stupid fishing proverb. I don't want to fish! I WANT TO EAT!

This is impossible. All the noobs have taught us that the information must be prepared and served in a timely fashion. Over, and over again.

Since you put it in those terms and mention proverbs, I've got one for you - "He who will not work, neither shall he eat." -II Thesssalonians 3:10 This was in response to slackers living off charity and donations and not trying to provide for themselves.
