You just wanted to show off that NACA duct again.
I like the new wheels.
Good luck with the install/repairs.

I believe the rx7 circlips are too weak/tiny to hold the stubs in place....you can see the pass side one is pulled away 1/8"
Attachment 3785
Update...tranny is about to be dropped, just removed my Pierburg. Already tired...can't wait till Monday so I can fall asleep in my office :gay:

Mindless insanity screaming here, but make CERTAIN that your tranny shaft is CLEAN before you put your throwout bearing in. I just wiped it down quickly and threw the new one in, and my motor ate it in 45 seconds. :(
You are a brave man to drop your tranny. Having done it once, it's a well-spent $350+ at most shops.

Nah, it's pretty easy. The tranny on my miata was first I ever removed and took about 45 minutes. It's all about having the right tools.

The worst tranny to drop(that I come across) is the AWD DSM trannies, cause they still in a FWD platform and there is no room in that engine bay.

OEM
This is the second time dropping it. Notice all the Snap-on tools and tranny lift?
The turbo colt with the DSM fwd tranny is much worse. The 1g dsm engine bay has much much much more room to work on.
