I'm another in the do it once crowd. 3in for turbo or don't bother. Regardless of power goals or turbo size, it will spool faster and make power goals easier to reach. Simple as taht.

Hey 02BlazinMiata. I just got your message, I am holding this supercharger until friday, I got a man from Houston that has agreed to 1,550 shipped. I got other people interested, but if he backs down, i'll let you know friday. Thanks!

P.S. My supercharger kit has less than 15k miles includes FM Voodoo card, TDR 62.5mm pulley, TDR header blanket, MSD ignition box, and a custom Tensioner designed after moss 2nd generation tensioner, but a one piece unit.

Now of course, I love Flyin Miata. If Flyin Miata had a grocery store, I would shop there just to get the little flyin Miata shopping bag, if Flyin Miata sold Dog Food, I would buy their Turbodog Brand, if Flyin Miata had condoms, I would buy there GT28 series size condoms. Heck, if Flyin Miata had toilet paper, I would wipe my a## with their toilet paper.

Seriously, now I am considering the Flyin Miata 2.5 inch Duel exhaust without a catalytic converter, remember I do live in Alabama, our cops don't care about that stuff. I don't know, but i've seem some reports done and it appears that cfm flow more than double when the catalytic converter is removed, would this more than offset the disadvantage of a 2.5 inch exhaust?

Second, everyone seems to talk about power, power, and more power. To be honest, I was happy with my 7psi Jackson Racing Supercharger, it had a predictable 150-160 horsepower, but I could not justify spending a 1,000 dollars more on a TDR intercooler. Why does supercharging necessarily mean i'm a wayward soul, I loved my JRSC supercharger and that's why I am so hesitant to just go and buy some big big turbo, because I place power predictability and drivability as my number one most important aspect. I have driven 289 horsepower Miata's and IDK it's almost like its too much power. Most people claim that the GT2554r turbo responds like a supercharger and has a headroom of 220-240 horsepower, I will never go over 220 horsepower..

There is one thing that i'll miss with the supercharger, and that is the sound of what can best be described as a jet turbine engine. Does all turbos sound like blowing air through a straw? And BTW, blowoff valves, obnoxious...

I know I'm all about 3", but I think money could be spent elsewhere.
Pretty much. At least for now its money in his pocket by not upgrading, then later on if he is going for more power it wont be that much harder to throw in a 3 inch turbo back.

He 02BlazingNB, the buyer has backed down, I'll take 1500 dollars plus shipping if you are interested. It is for a 1994-1997, but heck it should be compatible with a NB IDK. Second I have an entire exhaust assembly with less than 7000 miles on it. OBX-4-2-1 header, Magnaflow hi-flow cat and Magnaflow catback exhaust, it really opens it up and it's a perfect match to your supercharger. Thanks!

P.S 1,800 dollars and i'll ship it all to you.
