Default Mercury Capri Turbo setup on a Miata 1.6?

Hi guys, someone is selling me a mercury capri turbo setup. Apparently it can fit on a miata 1.6? It includes intercooler piping, turbo, exhaust manifold, airflow sensor for $250. Good deal? or is it going to require alot of custom work?

Thank you

Read this thread, which I found by simply clicking in the white box above that says "SEARCH N00B" and typing "capri turbo kit".

It's going to require you to search, which you clearly can't do. So yea, it will be too much work for you.

It's an easy swap, just switch your Miata to fwd and mount the engine sideways.

I'm probably wrong, but does that mercury Capri use the same 2.3liter 4 cylinder with the t3 turbo as the mustang SVO and merkur x4ti? (I think it was called x4ti...don't care if I'm wrong...currently **** tossed.)
Speaking of that. Why thank squirrels? Do you like to hoard D's?

You are thinking of the Murker XR4Ti which is the same as the Ford Sierra in the UK. It does have the same engine has the SVO mustang.

Same engine as a 1986-1989 mazda 323 GTX. Its a 1.6l B6T.

No the manifold won't fit well in a miata. serious interferance with miata motor mount and the exhaust outlet will point forward good luck fabricating an exhaust that exits towards the rear of the car.
