MX-5 turbo conversion
hey guys. this question has probably been asked so many times but ive got a 2002 model 1.8ltr mx5 and i want to turbo charge it.
i was just wondering if its safe to run 7-10psi with standard internals?
i was also wondering where is the best location to get an oil feed and oil return line for the turbo??
your help would be greatly appreciated.

yeah should be fine.
on the block the best place is the oil pressure sender, just beside the oil filter. BEGi and FM sell the adapter you can use....it's 1/8" BSPT so it's hard to come by.
the return is still best to tap in the location in my FAQ.

You're probably right. I was trying to avoid the SS lines sawing their way through other lines, wires, etc. These kinds of things are fairly common in my projects. I had a Volvo in college where the auto trans fluid lines wore against the exhaust pipe. I had a really cool smoke screen for awhile.
