Wow, a newbie who isn't a retard and is willing to listen to advice, who'd have thought 
List looks complete to me. Power at the crank isn't a great way to shoot for something (assuming you don't have an engine dyno, heh). I think ~180whp should be a good goal for you as a compromise between fun and reliability. You shouldn't think of X psi as an issue, just how much power you're making. 5 psi from a gt2554 and 5 psi from a gt3576 are wholly different.

Thanks, im glad you think the list looks good. By saying 200hp at the crank I really meant 160-180 at the wheels. I just wanted that 200hp mark.
And as far as the PSI goes im not sure if i want to run an intercooler initially, thus the low PSI goal. What are the general thoughts on non intercooled, low PSI set ups?

Well im not willing to consider anything but standalone at this point so im going to risk it in the long run and hope that the CARB EO plaque will be enough to sway the smog guy. I may learn the hard way but ive heard plenty of success stories, even with just an EO number.

Its good that you want to run full standalone. You will need to swap ECU's for smog then. The CARB OE won't save you if they plug in and no OBDII codes are returned. You need OBDII+CARB OE to pass. If they don't plug into the OBDII port where you're at then you can ignore me

Its good that you want to run full standalone. You will need to swap ECU's for smog then. The CARB OE won't save you if they plug in and no OBDII codes are returned. You need OBDII+CARB OE to pass. If they don't plug into the OBDII port where you're at then you can ignore me

Your best bet would be to search around for smog/emissions, stuff like that and see if you can find out what other people in cali do. I think there is a thread about it somewhere.
