Get the stock ones painted or coated in the centers or something like that. I've even seen some bolt on plates that make them more "bling" if that's what you're looking for.

Is my car really that small?

While I have it all off I'm thinking of repainting valve cover and I was thinking if I should paint valve cover and intake manifold all black? I don't know how it will look, what do you think?

go wrinkle red on the valve cover and black wrinkle on teh manifold.

Top of car is red so the top of the engine should be as well.

Id say keep the valve cover at least red, Kinda agreeing with Dhaark I think red valve and black manifold would look good

As you can see on first picture they're JE pistons, 1.5mm overbore 9:0 compression.

Can I use a stock head gasket with 1.5mm overbore? Or do I need a custom made one?

Nice build Russman! If you just want to paint the stock pulleys they look pretty good. Local boy caldera has his painted gold. Can't wait to see your car in person some time. It's always been a favorite. First one I saw with Sportmaxes too.

I saw the JE logo, i'd just never heard of them. Those pistons make that girl that climbed your hood look like complete hell.

Thanks man, me and turns101 were the first people to put sportmaxes on miatas, and on any car for that matter.

Got any pictures of the pulleys?

No, not yet. I'm so fing pissed off at them, my engine has been sitting here for almost two weeks just waiting for these rods. Might've been done with all the machining by now if not for those. I called him and he said that they have them but waiting to ship them out, or they want another 100 bucks to ship them out right now, how gay is that?

Anyway, got injectors today. PnP 550's for $60

I believe those are 460ccs, if the last 4 numbers on them are 2020, they are 460ccs, not 550. Just a heads up.

They do have 2020 at the end.
I thought they would be 550's, either braineack or you is wrong, here's what his faq says:
460cc - Red Top #195500-2010
550cc - purple top #195500-2020

I'll go clean them and see what they flow.

My mistake, the 2010s are the 460's, sorry about that.

I know. THat is sooo gay.
On their website it says:
"BORDER CHARGES / DUTIES - Most of our items ship with NAFTA forms and for less than $200 so there will be no border charges for anybody. A small number of our items may come over and you might owe a small amount to UPS for duties / clearing. Generally these charges are no more than $20 and in most cases you will receive your package with no additional charges at all."

SO it shouldn't be more than $20 extra. I might call for a refund + some extra money because if the losses. You should try as well!
