Looks like my Tial BOV is missing part of the clamp.
If you look in this pic.. http://blindmind.smugmug.com/photos/219791891-M.jpg you can see the clamp and the BOV. I'm guessing the the Hex head screw is the one for the clamp but i don't see the pieces that the screw threads in to. Any ideas on sourcing those pieces or a new clamp? |
Email Tial or meaure the vband clamp size and get one from http://store.racing-solutions.org/
What you're looking for are the pins that go in the clamp, was is a guide, the other is threaded. |

talked to the PO of the set up and he was seeing 10 PSI at 4000 RPM.
Seems a bit optimistic to me, he was running it on a stock 95 long block considering it's a T3 turbine, that sounds about right. |

We might as well consider ourselves color blind. That is purple in the denso injector world. Even though you would normally call it red.

I just ordered my new turbo..
GT28RS with a T3 Flange and Ext Gate. :skid: .. Hopefully i'll be boosting in 3 weeks. :x: Still need to find Engine Management. It's a hard choice. Lots of options out there. |
good choice. .63 A/R turbine i suspect?

Well it looks like the Manifold won't fit with my GT2860RS. The exhaust side of the turbo is 1/2" to 1" away from my Brake Booster. With normall Engine movment it would hit the brake booster and it's so close i'm sure it would melt it.
Not good not good at all.. i pretty much based my whole kit around this Mani only to find out it's a no go. Hopefully BEGI can come through with a Cast Mani.. I don't have any pics and i'm to pissed right now to get it all back on to take any. I don't know if this is an NA to NB issue or if changing the Turbo is the problem.. Maybe a little of both. |
This is the best picture I can find right now to represent what I'm trying to show you, but look for a turbo with a center inlet on the turbine housing, instead of the offset like most turbos..
http://www.mjmturbos.com/TurboBackground.jpg That might get you far enough away from the booster? maybe? |
I think you are talking about using a Journal Bearing Turbo ..
I was thinking about that and i don't think that's what i want to do .. |
looks like one of my injectors may be fried..
GRrr... if anyone has some 2020's they want to sell let me know.. |
