Default new fuel pump not Walbuzz!

hey gang,
just want to drop a line concerning a new fuel pump i bought on eBay from tre_performance . http://stores.ebay.com/TREPerformance-Store

being a diyer as most of you are, i didnt want to get a buzzy walbro in there so some searching turned up these guys. i had to do some McGyvering to make it fit my NB but now that its in i have more volume and pressure than i'll ever need and i only hear it when it primes the system at start up.

i also got some RC's for a pretty good price too.

so there ya go, just a happy customer here, they're in Cali and i'm in Montreal so no spamming here, just a friendly heads up!

cheers!

I've never heard one Walbro buzz.

And what's with the obsession of the 255lph?

My Walboro 255 HP was extremely loud. Walboros have been given the nickname Whineboro by a lot of people.

I've also only heard 190HPs. The whine of a 255 could possibly be due to the fact it cycles your fuel tank in about 3 secs

i only had reviews to go on. and the nightmares of owning an 87 shelby charger new off the lot. you want gas pump whine? buy one of those. the dealer told me to turn up the radio!

The noise and hit and miss reliability is one of the reasons I only use Bosch 044 inline pumps for builds now.

To me they look just like Walbro fuel pumps, just in black. But why do you not like the whining of the fuel pumps? I like the fact that the pump whines + with a kaaz 2-way it is really nice, especially if drive thru the parking lot, looking for a spot and everyone is just looking around to find out what the whining and clicking noise is.

190lph pump makes no noise in my car. 255lph is grossly excessive unless you're pushing over 400rwhp. I used to run a 255lph pump on a 5.0 Mustang with an S-trim on it. It was making 450rwhp conservatively with 42lb injectors.
