Default New turbo new tune (now with Braineack's ***)

I just installed my new to me t3/t4 43a/r 57trim tial 38 and full 3". I also did a cometic headgasket and arp head studs. I just went out for my first drive and it spiked to 17psi. Boost comes on a lot harder. I checked my overboost protection and thats what is was set to. set it down to 12. sure enough it hit it. it dosent seem like the boost controller is working. I set all the percentiles down. first 3 blocks are at 100, then it drops to 30 for the next 3 and 50 for the last of them. I felt the boost controller while running and its not cycling like i thought it was supposed to. HElp me out here!!!!!
http://www.photodump.org/stored24/tial.jpg this is how i have the wg vacuum lines run.

ps. Brain come over tomorrow for help with this and tuning!

dan, try just running the line to the bottom port on the EWG only now, no EBC. if you cant, turn all the values to 0%

edit....

actually, i think if you just use the bottom port, with the ebc inline it will work, the ebc has it's own bleeder port....

but like i said, run it straight wastegate right now (bottom port) to see how much boost it makes as is...you might not need the ebc right now.

My apologies rappadan for the threadjacking!

Scott: the ebc should work the same with the AEM; right?

Thanks

yeah, if the solenoid bleeds itself, hook it up to the bottom port only. leave the top port open to atmosphere. otherwise, your not pushing enough boost down on top of the spring to control the boost.

Every time I see a picture of that car I feel an overwhelming compulsion to make a smart-*** comment... trying to resist... trying so hard...

Thats disturbing. Whats more disturbing is that someone actually spent the time to draw that. Its not just your 30 second paintshop job to take the **** out of someone on a forum.
