You know you can buy both from Cxracing and get the same fmic for cheaper? Mishimoto = Cxracing with the 'Mishimoto' logo painted on.

Its probably more likely that their chinese manufacturer has WAY more capacity than it needs to support mishimoto's supply and they just make whatever the **** they feel like and sell it however they want. Because honestly an american company has very little control over their chinese manufacturing even if they own the plant.

 

all i know is cxracing cores are shitty (at least the ICs) and I'll never buy one again.

Mine was surprisingly good. And I even cut it open. I would certainly buy again if I didnt mind the fact that it weighs 50billion pounds because the end tanks are cast a 1/4" thick.
