Everything I did was biased on service. It takes 10 minutes to remove the entire exhaust. And 25 minutes to remove the transmission the way I did the cross member. I put this together with service in mind. I fix cars all day long at work. I want to have to as little as possible to fix my car that will likely break often to reach my 400whp goal. I also have very little money to work with. I paid 3500$ for the car. And have spent around 4,000$ to have it where it is currently and the limiting factor on making real power is not have a ecu with means to do that. Once I obtain that this car will be well below 10,000$ total and should see over 20lbs of boost. This is the first turbo car I've ever built. So any of you who like to buy plug and play turbo kits and 1200$ clutch setups and wanna hate on my extremely cheap methods can shove your money in an envelope and send it to my doorstep. Until then I will be here hacking together something that works that will **** off even the slightest OCD person.

Need has smaller turbo. I make boost at 1800, 20 psi by 4,000. Gt2560.

Lots of effort on your end though.

What kind of hp are you making? Also what's the cfm on one of those? I was going to do a different turbo but found this holset used fresh rebuilt for 200$

I do not have the funds. It's more then likely gonna be snowing in a month here in MN so I'm more then likely going to push off the MS till next summer. As I have multiple issues to resolve still. A few leaks. As well and the trans I scored for 200$ has something wrong internally. Not sure if it's bearings or synchro issues or in the clutch adaption but I definitely makes lovely grind/growling noise on deccel. I've been just running around working out kinks on stock ecu. Cars fueling fine up to about third gear in closed loop at 10lbs. Not picking up knock as it's basically a false 10lbs. Part throttle anyways. I'm debating on just trying to sell that car as well. I've done everything I could as cheap as I could but I just really can't afford to keep going. So we will see. Really. Not that any only you yahoos care. I just liked the idea of documenting all this for ease of explaining what all the cars had done.

cheers.
