If you found a place in Richmond, it might entice a few of the NC guys to come up... maybe a few more Hampton Roads types. My tune is good for now, but I'll come watch and eat pizza... if the drive is within an hour or two.

I think the real point in keeping this tuning day in the NOVA area is the fact that if we blow up our cars, then its not that big of a deal. I would hesitate to really push my car on a dyno 1-2 hours away.

yeah, sorry sam, we love you and all but this is mostly for the three of us to do some real hardcore tuning. you know, so we dont have to wait for scott to do 10 dyno runs at a 12 person dyno day.

ok back on TOPIC, lets get a list of dyno shops that have loading dynos up in this bitch. i'll edit (if I can?) my first post to have the list as we go.

Matt I would call PTuning and talk t them about pricing. I know the 250$/hour rate is with having them tune the car. If you are doing the tuning yourself they might give you guys a discount. If SC dosent work out for me I will definately be down to dyno with you guys. Or else I will jsut still Scotts maps when he gets them tuned perfectly

Hell, I might be picking up a 4 post soon for my garage. Can't make the tuning day but how about an exhaust building day?

Want a quick run to GA? I really want to redo my duals like the new enthuzas with a Y pipe instead of a 1-in to 2-out muff I have now.

haha my god guys. it'll take a day to do two miatas, depending on what they want done. if it's just from the bottom of the DP back then a whole day for two is reasonable. I have no jigs! who knows how to make jigs?

matt did you see the dyno place I added? I think even if it's just the three of us, $350 for 4 hours sounds VERY resonable....

Matt,

Name is Yoram. Count me in. Mid June is prefect for me because I will have my link ECU installed and would need a tune. Any place within 30-40 miles would work.

Just think how good you'll get. It'll only take a week of exhaust making. I've got an NB so it's easier.

Have you guys thought of York Automotive in Mt Airy? They have a dyno @100 per hour and you can do your own tuning.

Thanks Yoram, I knew it was an atypical name but it'd been a while...

yeah that's a pretty good deal. looks like a pretty "not in your face" kinda place too. "you tune dyno session" they list. awesome.
