Just my own personal opinion, but if you are going to try to save a few bucks by using a chinese made turbo, just do the damn thing and get one from ebay/cxracing.

Jeff money is not the issue I can afford to buy any turbo I want, I don't mind paying for a Garrett ( I have one now) but it appears old stand bys like Garrett are being farmed out ( no suprise there ) so how can I be sure I'am getting what I pay for ?

In my opinion if you're getting a knockoff just get the cheaper ones available on ebay UNLESS the ones you linked are same price or cheaper (no prices posted on site usually means they're not that cheap).

If you want to get the "better quality knockoff" just get the real thing.
There's no point in overpaying for a knockoff

I think you might have misunderstood what I was getting at. I'm all about chinese turbos. I had one on my miata, and I'll have another one on my BMW. But as 18psi said (and you agreed with) Why overpay for what is essentially the same thing?

And yes, even Garrett turbos are now being outsourced, so I say **** it, just buy the cheapest one that works.
