Default Overboost problem?

Okay, So I just finished up my turbo build. I am running a gt2860rs. Getting it street tuned and it keeps over boosting. I only have it on gate, just a vacuum line to the wastegate. So I was thinking it should be at about 8lbs but when I stated to get into it a little more it kept hitting boost cut so I took it home and looked at the logs and it hit 22 lbs!!! So that scared me. Anyway. Im really not sure why it could be overboosting.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you for any help.

Need more info, but start with the simple things... is your waste-gate actually operating (check with some compressed air), is it operating smoothly (use hand or again compressed air), and where is your vac reference line to the waste-gate.... also, please tell me you HAVE a reference line to the wastegate, or uhm, that would be your problem. A picture of your engine bay may help

I suggest lowering your boost cut setting until you get things sorted out and tuned.
