Default Ported my wastegate

flapper is 1.26"
wastegate outlet was .88", brought it to .95"
tapered a small channel in like BEGi suggests.

Interesting. I thought you cant widen the hole like that because it no longer keep the gases in?

I dont remember who mentioned it though.

Yeah, something about making the wastegate have to work much harder due to increasing the exposed surface area of the wastegate port.

It's probably just fine though.

Hey scott, why didnt you just go external WG if you had boost creep issues?

new manifold and downpipe and wastegate aren't free...

This will work, I tuned out the boost creep with my EBC, however, i cant run less than 12psi

If he flap starts to, ehh. flap. Then its easy to change to a tougher actuator / actuator spring.

16% increase.

yeah, didn't want to go too far, hopefully it does the trick.

High flow internal WG housing (ATP ripoff) $60
Figured I'd mention this on the subject of internal gates and flow. Would definitely complement the porting... of course that makes more work.

yeah dude, my flapper barely has any room to move, full open is a sliver.....we'll see it wasn't a big deal like i said, I could tune 12psi flat, but wastegate used to be 6-7psi.
