I've hated not to be able to close the hood all the way, so I finally pulled it into the garage and tore off the exhaust manifold/turbo to clock the Turbo.

BEFORE:

AFTER (Not done yet).

I'll post up how it looks when I'm done.. can't wait until I get a welder so I can get that **** done right.

Should be getting it dyno tuned within the next few weeks after I get this problem, and a stud out of the fuel rail fixed. Then maybe some Coilovers, and a nice set of CCW Classics.

Dude, if you have an MSPNP, why in the hell is the damn flapper box still in there. Spend the $15 on a sensor and get rid of that restrictive ****.

Havn't really worried about it, it's on my to-do list before it gets tuned.

In fact giving it a bit more thought, you NEED to get a iat sensor. As things stand you are making fuel calculations based on the air temp before the turbo. Have faith they are very different at the throttle body. You will have to get that sorted before you march down to the dyno or they will laugh you out of the place.

Yeah, It's on my to-do list before it gets tuned, as said above.

Sold the Donk Status rims, bought some Raceland Coilovers. Buying all the front end ball joints tomorrow.

Going to drop it on the 17's it came with and just wait for a good deal on some XXR 502s +15 Offset.

Ebay Manifold cracked tonight. Might go have the welds redone, they look like really weak welds.

Whats a good top mount manifold for a 1.6, TD05h.

Was the turbo and manifold supported with bracing?

I have seen the placing a steel brace from the turbine welded as an L shape and the other ended bolted to the engine seems to be the fix with those ebay manifolds.

In MX-3 forums thats how the fix/stop the manifold from cracking. The brace is not from the manifold to the engine.

I'll go get it welded sometime and try it sometime this week, thanks!
