Default Really Nice Cans

I saw these catch cans posted on the VWvortex.

This is one of the nicest cans I have seen. Phillips showed me another one today that is pretty sick(sicker than these even) but I don't really want to wait for them. These are usually around 90 raw or 100 colored but I shot out some emails and we could get em for $75 raw or $80 colored if you guys wanted to jump in.

You guys don't think that 2" is too big of diameter? The valve cover port is only like 1/2"

You could use a filter on one port of the can instead of routing it back to the intake.

I think he's talking about making one out of pvc and watching as hot oil melts it slowly.

You could make one out of PVC and the hot oil will not melt it because once it gets through a nice long hose it will have cooled enough for the pvc to handle.

There are lots of other ways to DIY this too, (an air compressor oil separator works great) but the price is low and nothing I make would be that nice.

Wideopen, I will take a look tomarow and see it I have a good place to put something that size.

where would you find the vertical mounting space for that in a miata? certainly not in my miata. that said, they are pretty slick.

I had one mounted just in front of the crank case, plenty of room there.

yeah but just putting a breather on one side of it kind of defeats the purpose of having a catch can hooked up to pull those vapors/oil out and ****.... might as well not spend the money and let my cool beans breather filter just sit on the valvecover as it is now
