Default Resizing Injectors?

I recently picked up a set of Oem 1.8 injectors. I was told it was re-sized to flow 550cc. Is this legit? I believe it's legit but you guys be the ones to judge. According to the seller it was done by Venom. I bought new O-rings from a local auto part store just to be safe. I will start data logging on my mspnp onceI test these out. I'll do a quick run and will post it up on here after.

In the pictures, there are 2 different injectors being compared.

Left = Supra 430cc Injectors.
Right = OEM tan top 1.8 "re-sized' to 550cc

Back in my Supra days I use to hear of people getting bad injectors directly from Venom. A very good friend of mine had ten out of twelve "550s" that wouldn't flow 550 on a bench test and the patterns were all over the place. Ended up with 12 injectors I wouldn't trust in someone else's Honda. Full refund and never again. It's your motor, put them in turn the boost up and find out the hard way or have them bench tested. Drilling the injector isnt resizing them.

Will I be able to see the difference when I data log with the mspnp?

The rx7 injectors would work better than the ones from Venom if they are in good condition.

I wouldn't buy any used injectors without already planning on having them professionally cleaned.

What they do is "decap" them, the problem is the flow rates at that point are all over the map. Unless you buy 100+ and decap them all and flow and pair them up the could vary by 5% or more. Not worth the hassle.

Why not Injector Dynamics fuel injectors - Miata @ 949Racing or even ID1000 @ Trackspeed Engineering ? Lets get some love for our sponsors up in herr!

Another decent OEM option are the RX8 Denso 195500-4450 injectors.

The RX7 Bosch EV1 style units are not bad, they are just REALLY old technology. If you are going to spend money, I recommend you buy something that was designed after 1970s.

Well yes, you can always support the vendors, I was just demonstrating the ID1000 injectors is all.
