I am installing RX8 injectors on a 94 with a 99 head and intake manifold. I am using a "Ktuned" fuel rail as previously sold by MiataRoadster. The RX8 injectors are a little shorter than the stock 94 injectors. Also, there are small plastic rings at the bottom of the stock injectors. It would seem that I have to transfer these to the new injectors, but they are really tight on the RX8 injectors, but slide easily on and off the stock injectors. So should I use the rings? Also, any problem with the length difference?

length shouldn't really matter if it's a few mm, it could if it's shorter, you may need to remove your fuel rail spacers and try stacking washers instead. you need the insulators. they are fairly cheap and common at any auto parts store, so if the really wont fit, drill them out, but they need to make a seal so don't go overboard.
