Default sh*tastic obx downpipe

OBX Replacement Downpipe for Miata MX5 DSM 4BOLTS Turbo | eBay

Is what I bought. It says, OBX UPGRADED REPLACEMENT DOWNPIPE FOR GREDDY TURBO KIT, which is false. Anyone here have problems with this?

Pics for attention. I've contacted the seller about this already.

Yeah, I figured that was coming. Only real option is the begi one, I tried contacting artech but have received no response in two emails.

No, nobody has ever had a problem with e-bay downpipes not fitting at all. You are the very first, ever.

Sit and spin.

This is beyond 'fitment' issues. This is not even the right flange. I can handle hammering **** out, I can handle it sitting against the trans and make a bracket. This won't even bolt up.

Seller says "you can return for refund, we sold a lot of those no issue". Guess I'm paying return shipping.

Trace the flange out and dimension all crucial measurements.

clubroadster to the rescue

td04 mani/dp miata 1.6 - ClubRoadster.net

Seems like the OBX downpipe is made for a 2g dsm t25.

When I put the blue car together I hacked one of these up for the 16g flange. To buy a stainless flange cost more than this entire downpipe. lol

That is just wrong lol, what you recieved is for DSM turbos (14b, 16g, later T25 etc). But if the seller put in the description that its also a replacement for the Greddy that is completely false. You should not have paid any return shipping.

I didn't. Ebay sent me a return shipping label and I printed it out, got my refund today.
