It will be less efficient than a tubular manifold above 0HP.

But it will always be cheaper.

Well, yes...factors as a turbo will,play a big part.
what I am saying is...is not shelling the extra cash for a tubular manifold worth it for about 300hp?
yes, with time, all,other variables will be taken care of.
just don't want to buy the same part twice.

Well that's easy then. An FM log will run you $400. A custom short tubular mani will not be much more, maybe $200 more at most. Ask Artech, but I would guess Abe isn't going to be much more expensive. If you are at all worried, then just get a tubular one from the beginning.
