Show me your 80-120kph (50-75mph) times
Lets push the activity in this community a little bit with a challange everyone can do without going straight to jail.
In Europe THE standard measurement how torquey a car feels, is measured by 80-120kph times in 4th, 5th and 6th.
Do this while starting at around 60kph(~40mph) and make a pull, so a flying measurement, not steady cruising at 80kph and THEN building boost. That way we can compare way better.
Post quick car details:
NA 1.8 non VVT turbo
Kraken 3" exhaust/manifold
GTX2860R gen2 0.63 20psi
6 Speed/3.6 torsen
205/50/15 Federal 595 RS Pro
slightly detuned at 300/300, because winter
4th: 2,5 sec
5th: 3,5sec
6th: 5,4sec (builds boost for a sec)
Lets go!

QStarz XT818 gps and race chrono.
You could also take a datalog with VSS and measure very accurately in MLV. Maybe the easiest and quickest way.
If you don't have VSS, just use GPS Race Timer app on your phone. It's only 1hz and it calculates the speed/time when you hit 80 and 120kph, but it's better than nothing

Also very good, or PGear 610 (20hz)
edit:
Just go for a drive and use what you have, I would also be interested in stockish cars all years (yes, really), supercharged cars - or generally every car.
If you have a Z06, go measure your ****, so we have a cool little data base.
To the grocery store in your mums X3 Diesel, pull your device and post it here
edit2:
Most interesting is 4th anyway, so if you don't have time or space: Just post 4th gear

I'm getting my Pulsar 4849G (G25-550 clone) with Kraken manifold/exhaust put together now. I'll try to chime in this week, maybe Wednesday at the earliest. I've just got to attach the exhaust from the turbo back and do my timing belt after I fix my exhaust cam shims. I might paint my valve cover while it's apart but that shouldn't take too long. Looking to be around 375whp and 325wtq, but we will see what happens. I'm really looking forward to putting out some good data on this turbo.

I was going to participate this weekend, driving my van to the track with the Miata on the trailer. I had the app downloaded but couldn't bring myself do do a pull The poor van barely likes cruising at 65mph with that much weight on it. I gotta do some more track prep on the Miata this week and will try to get a pull in and post before Friday.

Using KMiata gearing calculator and a datalog, I got 1.866 seconds in 4th gear. Using the Red datalog from the attached picture. 83.5mm 8.6:1 Wiseco Pistons, +1mm I/E Valves from Manley, Squaretop + S2 Throttle, Full 3" Kraken Sidemount, PSR 4849G (G25-550 clone). Seeing ~92% dutycycle on my FF960s, need to upgrade my FPR/Fuel system (NB1 returnless FPR stock). Oh yeah and its a 6 speed with a 4.3 rear end.
Starts at 10.205s 4028 RPM and 233.4 kPa (50.3 mph)
Ends at 12.071s / 6044 RPM and 281.1 kPa (75.4 mph)

Thats quick!

That's insanely quick, but I have to admit, the 4.3 rear end is just a bit longer than third in my car (3.6, 16% difference) Nontheless, this is very very cool.
Thank you guys, let's keep going.
@Newaza Can you lock your car in 4th? I would love to see how it does

I only use first through third when full power at the track so I had no need to build up 4th to hold a lot of power. I reckon i could by adapting a larger apply servo for the band thats applied for fourth but never saw the need to do that. I did do a quick pull the other day and got 1.59s 50-75mph on the dragy, but I dont think it got full boost until closer to 60mph than 50. I will post something later when at the track. I know what it does 50-70 as I,ve measured that data point a number of times so I anticipate maybe roughly 1.3s give or take a little 50-75mph when at track.
