Default Silly question about the MAF

Does the MAF hook up between the turbo and the intake or outside the turbo (connected to the air filter). This may be why my car will start for 2 secs then shut off.

To the turbo intake(air filter), not the charge piping.

Yup. Between filter & turbo.

Don't know that this would prevent your car from idling however. At very low loads and with a cold engine, the air temperature and density should be very similar pre and post-turbo.

Been wrong before, though.

Also make sure it's pointing the right way. The arrow points in the direction of airflow.
