Default SpeedyEFI Wideband Help

Been reading a bunch of threads on this forum, was finally stumped enough to join. I have 1990 1.6 with a bottom mount externally gated setup, Speedy EFI with the TPS/IAT, will be heading to the dyno as soon as I can get this wiring issue sorted. The problem is that when I connect my laptop to TunerStudio, it says not connected. The O2 wire had already been clipped on this car, so I thought I'd traced it to the wrong source, so the wideband essentially wasn't hooked up. I went back, pulled up an ECU pinout for the 90-93 Miata and found the blue/red wire for the O2 sensor and clipped it at the source, then connected it to the wideband, but still no reading. Now bear with me here because I know literally nothing about wiring, but what I realized is that the blue/red O2 wire was tied into the red MAF wire, and then there was something that looked identical thickness and color to the latter shielded portion of the O2 wire, but coming back rather than leaving the ECU, that split off to a black/green wire that went to a connector sort of thing. So I clipped the red wire cause I have no MAF, thinking it'd solve my problem, which it didn't lol. So I need some help. Also, grounded a bunch of wires in the bay, as you will see, no clue what any of them do. If it matters, I have a Mac.

Any thoughts at all before I rent a trailer and drag this to the shop?
