Default T25G Disassemble and Rebuild

Hey,
I'm complete new to turbo stuff, I just blindly bought this turbo off of a guy in this forum. It was $145 shipped, and seems like it was pretty good deal.
Even if it wasn't I wanted to get my hands on one of them and play with it for learning purposes.

When I received it, serial number of off turbo read 14411-50f00. After quick google it seems like it's a turbo off of Japanese S13 redtop SR20DET.

Size wise T25<T25G<T28

I'm planning on doing a rebuild on the turbo and use it when the time comes, it might be awhile but it'll be fun learning experience.

I went ahead and disassembled the turbo today

I have couple question for the pros, I've read people rebuilding these with ebay kits, are there different quality kits?
I'm thinking about getting this one from amazon, good choice? any recommendations?

Also what is the best way to clean the wheels? CHRA housing?

Please share your knowledge, educated me, and lead me to right directions.
thanks in advance

Threads are worthless w/o pics, right? here are some pics

I ran a T25G which is basically a journal bearing version of the GT2554

It a very quick spooling turbo but tops out at about 230whp. At its max of about 14psi boost it will hit hard then run out of breath. Good turbo to start with.

Check for turbine housing cracks. Decoke the cartridge & housing then polish the shaft and rebuild. I hope you marked the shaft to nut and compressor wheel

I have picture reference of where the nut and compressor wheel go but I didn't mark it before I disassembled it. I've read that compressor wheel and turbine wheel are balanced separately.

I didn't bother marking the turbine housing as well since this one needs to be clocked, correct?

Do I need to send this off to get it balanced after rebuild?

Thanks for the help

EDIT: Seems like balance service is only about $55, I'll probably send this off to get it balance and do it right.
