Where to get turbo blanket for T-25?
I know I've read countless threads of people saying "OMFG nobody needs a turbo blanket! Waste of money!11!!!11"
Well, I just bolted up my T25 and HKS mani and the turbine housing is going to be sitting like 2" from the hood. My car was just painted, so yeah, I want a blankie. If it doesn't exist then I'm having it ceramic coated, but I'm not leaving a bare, glowing red hot thing that close to my hood.

you can get them in the Don't-get-them forum
seriously, stick a 1" thick piece of reflective insulation between your hood and the hood structure, and it won't ruin your paint, and your turbo will keep cool.

I used this insulation kit here to line a heat shield I made from sheet aluminum. It's easy to take off if need be, and it only cost $40 + the scrap aluminum I had laying around. It also leaves the internal wastegate lever free of obstructions, too.
