He's driving up to borrow my drill bit and tap and I gave him the number to a local hydraulics shop that stocks Aeroquip parts and other odds and ends, so hopefully he'll have some luck.

 

I got the oil feed all fanaggled up. It's all in npt :( but I made it fit. I'm still goig to order that fitting so that I can have something proper, but this will work for now. My car HAS to be finished tomorrow, so there is no other option. I have come to realize that no matter how big of a city you live in it is quite impossible to find a fitting with bsp and npt(or any other threading) together on the same fitting. It is almost as hard to just find anything bsp. I even went to some repair shops that specialize in british roadsters and they did have any bsp fittings in stock....

Also got a ride in Brain's miata. Tons of fun, I was practically salivating! Thanks for the tap Brain.

most hydraulic companys (particularly parker) will have some adapters in stock... that's how I got mine. unfortunately they are about $7.50/each.

 

Yeah i purchased a 1/2-20 to -4AN fitting from ANplumbing.com and it was 9.50 i think... Darn fitting cost as much as the line almost.
