The US term for a screw stick (Is that how it directly translates?) is a vise.

They mounted the IC like that when the CarThrottle guy turbocharged his mx-5, idk if that's where you saw it.

Thanks, your a viseguy. I believe its from seamanship where you insert a wooden stick in the rope for leverage when you twist it.

Its also a good idea to run some abrasion resistant hose sleeves on anything that might rub. Jegs, summit, pegasus all have it. Your local hydraulics hose place will have it too.

Remember the advice your getting isn't theoretical. It is because we were dumb asses before you came along. The point of being on a forum for me at least is to get knowledge and perspective. You don't hang out here for the company...

Also I recommend 2.5" on the hot side and go manual steering. Frees up lots of nice room for turbo parts and only really makes parking a smige tougher.

Car runs grate so far. About 20h+ operating time on the turbo setup. Intake temps ~10*C above ambient. My numberplate is located right in front of the air intake, blocking air flow to the intercooler. I need to mount it to the side.
