Go to Composite Logger. Do you have cam and crank signals?

Where did the MS come from? Did you buy it used or from a vendor?

If you are not seeing Cam and Crank signals when viewing logger, while cranking the engine, then they are not connected.... Check the blah blah

Seems like the MS is not seeing the signal. Have you checked to make sure all the pins in the connectors are seated properly?

"Seems" does not equal "is".

Pin out the terminals to make sure you don't have a broken wire somewhere. That will eliminate half of your possibilities.

How do you have your spark settings configured?

Edit: Wait, you have an NB with a 1.6?

Yeah all the wires are good I've probed the entire harness already. And yes I have the 1998 Nb that was only sold in Japan and Europe it has the 1.6. Rhd spark configurations I've used 1990-1994 start up maps and 1999-2000 start up maps nothing seems to work

The NB 1.6 didn't have the cas, it have crank and cam hall sensors, like the 1.8 NB.
I think you should use the 98-00 setups
