Hey I have a 97 mx5 and Im looking to build and boost it. I was just looking for some help on how to tune it backyard style for now until i put the build 1.8 with all the good parts in it. Right now i have a stock 1.8 and a hybrid internally wastegated turbo with a t3 flange for the mani and 320 injectors. I just want to get this one running to hold me over until the built motor is done. Any suggestions? Thanks

 

get your spark and fuel management [aka megasquirt] installed and tuned first

 

So get megasquirt and just tune it off of that?

 

yes, then (1) safety equipment, (2) suspension, (3) power adders
and have a blast of fun along the way
