Default Turbo fitting manifold database?

For those people that like to piece together their kits I was wondering if there is any post on here that lists all of the turbos that are compatible with the specific manifolds (FM/Begi)

no, because all you need to know is what the footprint is: t2 or t3 are the common ones

the real mystery is downpipe fitment, and there's no way to have a chart for that because of all the different bolt patterns, and slightly different sized bolt patterns as some of the churbos have.

you're more than welcome to give it a shot tho

You're stupidly fast in replying haha.

I mean, it seems as though a lot of the setups use a t25 off a SR20 but I've also seen a lot of other people picking up turbos that came stock from other cars and using them. Just wanted to know the listing of them. I guess if you can find a good deal on the manifold from FM or Begi, you can find a cheap good turbo and then have ARTECH make the DP for you right?

yep. basically. or if its a standard t2 or t3, and has a standard 5 bolt outlet, you can use any of the begi/fm downpipes too

So I just did a quick search for T25 and T28 turbos and there are some coming off the S20 cars and they don't seem to go for much (Example, this guy is just wanting best offer but the turbo looks a little rough Garrett T28 Turbo).

As you know I was going to turbo my 2000 NB but then found a great deal on the 1990 Begi turbo'd car. Within that time period though I had already ordered 650cc injectors, Exedy stage 1 clutch and a MS so I'm slowly going to piece things together and see the lowest cost I can get for the kit. That's why I want to know some of the turbos so I can pick one off from someone just basically giving it away on craigslist.

that t28 looks like it survived the holocaust lol

but yeah that's the key: whatever its name is, if it has the number 2 after the letter t, it will fit the begi t2 log...same for t3....there are exceptions to that rule, mainly with weird/odd sized turbos, but for the most part that's how it goes. simple

Sweet thanks. I'm assuming average price for a T25 or T28 turbo is going to be $100-$150? I'll likely want to concentrate on the T28's due to a larger motorr vs the 1.6L
