That would be correct. Funny you mention it, I finally put the car on stands today and got a little under-car time. Dirrty. Stuff I realized today:

My downpipe was resting on the factory d/p brace.

Trying to unbolt that factory brace is a tough job. Even worse with the d/p still attached and in the way, and when the car starts moving (with me under it, and I'm always nervous under the car, I always use extra stands) from you torquing on the wrench, it's time to stop and get the sawzall. "Well stock brace, you had a good run."

The weld-in bung in my downpipe does not point straight up, thus cannot be used.

Without the possibility of attaching the o2 sensor, my fun day of LM1 and LMA3 install and test was not to be.

The downpipe points up, not straight, as it travels back toward the cat. Yay.

There's room for a new exhaust. Yay!

See below for attachments:

1. Tools I wanted to use today.

2. Tools I did use today, chair included.

3. RIP brace. You go now.

4. Newfound clearance.

5. Downpipe / Cat fitment problems.

working links would help!

I ran an open downpipe before I could get my exhaust worked on, so the jet engine sound is familar. Not get too disapointed when it goes away.
