Default Garrett V band flange measurements

Either my turbine housing (atp v band gt2560r) is incompatible with normal garrett flanges or the wrong flanges are on my manifold and downpipe.

On the page with my turbine housing, atp lists related parts at the bottom of the page. (An inlet and outlet flange) those flanges fit gt28, gt30, and gt35. As far as I know, atp is the only seller of my turbine housing. So they must have the correct flanges, correct? Dont tell me there is a turbine housing for sale with no flanges that fit it. Please dont tell me that.

Anyway. Here are some pictures. Fab 9 mani/dp with "garrett" flanges.

Even better. I sent these same measurements in MM to fab 9s fabricator before he started and he said it would fit.

Pictures arent really in the right order but you can see that the lip on the inlet flange is too big to fit into the housing. And the outlet flange on the downpipe is bigger than the flange on the housing. Fwiw, inlet flange ODs match perfectly

I am thinking the Tial v-band housing is different then the ATP v-band housing. I will go measure my tial a bit later today and see if it matches your flanges.

But the flanges listed under "related parts" to my housing are tial I believe. Hopefully u can get a measurement for me. Thanks

I will also check on my v-band efr 6758 to see measurements on that. I wonder if they got the flanges mixed up.

Ive been digging for a few hours. I believe my housing is meant to receive tial flanges. Don't know how theh could get it wrong though since I sent them pictures with the calipers on every ID and OD on the housing and he said it would fit. Are there other garrett flanges on the market other than tial that they mightve used?

I don't know if there are other v-band flanges or not for the ATP housing. Back 5 years ago when I bought my turbo the ATP housing did not exist.

Did you ever get around to measuring? I did some research and found out my housing is made to receive tial flanges. And that garrett flanges are different. Maybe my manifold and dp has garrett flanges. If you could get some measurements on the inlet/outlet of your tial flanges that would really help me out

FWIW, Those "related parts/often ordered together" links are not a good source to confirm it will fit your housing. Infact, they are often derived from what commonly gets ordered together, not whether or not they are compatible.

Youre right. Thats usually a good rule of thumb. But i called atp and they did in fact say the first 2 "related parts" were the flanges that fit my housing.

"Mystery" solved. My manifold and dp has flanges to fit garrett v band housings. My turbine housing is made for Tial flanges...which are different sizes
