I recently purchased a used turbo kit that included a vj14 turbo and manifold. I was curious to see if anyone else was using this set-up and if I need to remove ac to make it fit because it seems like it hangs very low.

 

How is this going to work? The exhaust exits on the other side.

 

That's not even for a Miata.

 

yeah, looks like a capri setup which is fwd. turbo could be used but needs a different manifold. you would also have to come up with a solution for the downpipe. you wont find a bolt on downpipe so you will need to have one custom made. i wouldnt bother with most of that "kit" but you could probably sell it to someone with a FWD 1.6. escort gt, protege, etc.

 

Yeah that's what i figured once i did a search for the manifold online. Doesnt seem like these things have much value either. Oh well, thanks for the input guys.

 

If you couldn't spot that from the jump methinks you should do a bit more research before delving into FI.
