I'm not mentioning parts she doesn't know about! I'm just going to give her the price of your install less the parts I have to sell!

Boxsters aren't lame, they are respectable in her book. My Miata is chick/ gay man's car in her eyes. Of course my little "chick car" is going to thrash Boxsters on track days when we're done. She keep saying Miata stands for "Me oughtta" get a real car.

I pretty much have to do it. I can't pass up the chance to have a truly top of the line system installed by the real pro's vs. DIY with the stuff I've aquired. I hate to give up the car for so long though. The crappy Aerostar van I use for small deliveries at my business sucks. 1-2 months of driving that turd won't be fun.

Heck, she even got to take some laps as a passenger in a spec miata. Impressed the crap out of her how quick they are and how they handle. Still a chick car though. She thinks her 40+ year old hubby should be driving something with a more swanky image.

She's great. She can talk cars, loves muscle cars and makes a whole lot more money than I do. While she will appreciate the performance she still won't like me driving a 13 year old Miata. It just doesn't have the image she thinks I outta have. No matter how fast, clean or mean looking it is, for a Miata, it's still a Miata.

Meh, what'cha gonna do.

Cueball,I say do it!

If you don't,you will regret it and you will probably never get a chance like this again.

The 1-2 months without the miata will be all worth it when you get it back with twice as much HP.

I spend all winter (Haloween to March/April-ish) driving a 99 Caravan.
Sucks azz, but when you get back in your miata....
Sheeyit. It feels Gooooood!

For me, it's get back in and try to remember what tweaking I had left to do... or what was pissing me off that I didn't fix over the winter...

For you it'll be returned with a whole new level of fun attached!

Sweet deal!

I have the Xede on my car and it runs awesome. (My dyno numbers are pretty good too) Best piggy ever. Plus you can't beat BEGIs weekend map support.

OOOOOhhhhhh. Faaaaactoooory Fiiiivvvve.. pant pant, gasp gasp.

I'd be happy with a plain ol' ZO6. Just don't feel like driving a $70K car every day (or making $1000 an month payments) I was driving a 2002 Saab Viggen before I got the Miata. Only 85 sold worldwide for that year. I hated putting miles on such a rare car and eating depreciation. I like my $4K miata. Of course with suspension, brakes, roll bar, wheels & tires and the turbo system it'll be more like a 10K car. Still It'll be a really quick 10k car. With Corky's system in it I might actually be able to get some of that money back if I ever get stupid enough to sell it.

Hey stephanie,
do you need another test car for the S4 system?
I have a 2000 miata that wouldn't mind a little extra breathing assistance.

We have the 99+ covered. Thanks for the offer though.
Right now, I need MS3 and a CX-7.
