Default Warner-Ishi-IHI T3 Turbo 51T 21

1)- A friend just gave me a turbo for my 97 Miata. Warner-Ishi IHI T3 Turbo 51T 21 is the name stamped on the turbocharger. Does any one have specific specs about this turbo? I did a lot of research and I couldn't find anything about it except they come off 87-88 thunderbirds 2.3 turbo.

1)- Lets say I was to install this turbo on my car, and I'm on a budget. I understand that you need to tune the car after you boost it. But what if I don't tune it? at least not for 2 months and I was running 8psi of boost? will it cause any problems? does anyone currently drive a not tuned car?

my car has 145,000 miles

The fact that you are even asking this question shows that you do not have anywhere near the knowledge required to apply forced induction to your car. I strongly suggest you read the attached link before you ask anymore questions.

install it, run at least 10psi, don't tune it, should be fine. totally
you'll only have problems at 11 psi and up. 10psi should be good for 350hp bro

It doesnt matter if you got the turbo for free or even if someone paid to you to run it, building a setup around a crappy turbo is a recipe for disaster, especially if you cant weld.
