Default Wastegate Flapper Arm Clip

I was driving down the highway and I couldn't make any boost.

Opened the hood to find that apparently I have lost the clip which holds the wastegate arm down.

What is a temporary fix/where can I find a new clip asap?

Thanks.

NAPA has awesome clips that have this metal portion that doesnt let it come off.

Everytime I see a napa I forget to stop in and see wtf they are called. I have one on my turbo and its the shiznit.

Temporary fix is a thin paperclip you wind on a couple times.

Safety wire if you have it
Lowe's has the clip you need in the hardware section. I forget the size.

Mine has a small piece of safety wire. I have no intentions of changing it out for a pin because the safety wire works just fine.

My arm seems to be at a slight angle to the thing the little arm rests on(i'm full of lingo) so any movement and the arm wants to come off. And I was ******* with it at the dyno today trying to get the boost correct (I think my MBC is broken, completely closed it wouldn't make more boost, messing with the wastegate I got more boost). Paperclip fixed it however.

Yep. I found them at Ace for $0.16 each. They have two size - 1/8" and 3/16" I believe. The smaller of the two worked best on my turbo.
