I was peeking under my car yesterday and I think intercooler piping is going to be very easy but I want to make sure.

Priced out some 90 degree and 45 degree Mandrel bent 2.5" aluminized steel pipe pieces and looks like it'll cost a great deal of money.. What I've been thinking about doing is buying one of those cheap aluminum "do it yourself intercooer" pipe kits on ebay with silicon couplers and the T-bolt clamps.

What did you all do for charge pipes for a frount-mount?

Did that go together really easy? Use the couplers or weld most of them together?

I used an ebay pipe kit. I had to buy a few 90 degree couplers as well. Nearly all of the t-bolt clamps broke after a week of driving on salty roads.

I bought 1 or 2 (can't remember) extra 90 degree silicone bends to make things easier.

My system has a total of 3 welds, 2 on the hotside and one on the coldsie.

I wouldn't say it was really easy. Actually it was kind of a pain in the *** and it wasn't my first time either.

I've had no problems with the supplied t-bolt clamps.

It's probably the best/cheapest option though.
