Noob questions:

What are the stock flow rates on the Miata Injectors.

When you go with ~450s and ~550s, what injectors are you using? Are they a used injector form another car? How much boost will each flow rate support?

Thanks

Craig

got a question on stock injectors. for years i've heard that the 90-93 blue top injectors were 205cc and the 94-97 tans were 230. then i found miataturbo.net...

According to the FAQ:

the 90-93's are 230

at the top of the injector post the tans are "94-97 (tan) 265cc - #195500-2180"
while a few lines below that it says they are "94-97 Mazda Miata 254cc - Tan Top #195500-2180"

Also while using an AEM EMS last night I noticed it had the 94-97 injectors as 230cc.

So who's got the concrete info on this? Has anyone sent out their stock injectors and gotten em flow rated?

thank you

I'm using high impedance 550s from an RX7. I'd rather have RCs but i got mine serviced and ended up spending a total of $145 for the injectors and service after shipping. Beats $350 for RCs.

460cc RX7 injectors, again I'd like to run some RC's but the price prohibits me from doing so

the general cocencus on flow rate for the NA 1.8 injectors is 260 or so cc/min confirmed by witch hunter Flying miata and several of us I don't know how the 230 cc myth got started but it is untrue to say the least.
