how did the transition into boost feel. Was it ridiculously faster? After upgraded from 2.25 with glass pack and muffler to 2.5 and only 2 small resonators it spooled soo much faster!

I hope your muffler doesn't make your tires HOT.

the coupler:

my theory is:

since i cut it so short, it had no room to wiggle & flex as needed. that and i campled down my t-clamps very tight (extermely) and dug into the silicone enough that when the engine torqued up it started eatting into it. Combined with the ultra power of my 3" exhaust, it was just a diasater waiting to happen

what kind of coupler is that anyway? it looks pretty meaty, i mean i know its a 2" silicone, but it looks kinda weired...where did you get that one

just a typical 4-ply silicone coupler. I believe it's actually an OBX branded one.

the rain is preventing me from getting a good log, but with my MBC backed off a bit, i was still logging 16psi....talk about the last exhaust being a restriction.

Exhaust systems are beautiful works of art. I think I am going to run mine on top of my car instead next time.

I wish I lived closer because I have this incredible urge to clean your wheels. No inuendo intended.

Is that stainless? The weld areas (on the test pipe particularily) look spraypainted or something.

Also, is the tip touching the bumper? Looks a little offset, might be the angle of the camera?

no aluminumized (im cheap remember). the exhaust is perfectly centered, in the pic I only have the muffler hanging there.

there's about .5" of wiggle room around the diff's stub shaft flange and enough room around the ppf.
