Default y8s diy turbo sample dyno run!

that's right kids, it's no longer a fab project.

Keep in mind this is based on a 2nd gear datalog... figure plus or minus 10%... and then figure it'll get better when it's tuned.

it was pushing 14:1 at 8 psi but I'll fix that later. gotta go play soccer.

Discuss.

Excited to see how that Data Log Lab plot compares to your real dynojet runs next weekend.

another one (probably more realistic) was around 230 rwhp/200 rwtq at 8psi.

the difference is gonna obviously be how quickly I build boost.

me too- especially with a second gear pull. I got some pretty silly numbers from the power graph in DLL.

Friggin Delaware. I'm 3 miles from a dyno. I might have to see if my dad can babysit the 3 year old while I road trip it to DE.

It's just east of Baltimore. It's really not about how close the dyno is....more of a Brokeback Mountain getaway sort of thing :gay:

Problem is it's that much more time I have to arrange for a babysitter unless I just throw the kid in the trunk. She won't fit with my golf clubs though.

What kind of numbers did you get? I mean you have to actually put the gear you used to get even remotely close... I suspect it's about 5% optimistic based on my experience. We'll know Friday!

Me too. DLL shows me at 180hp, 190lb-ft @ 8 psi on my car with a 4th gear pull to redline.

I've had a range of 100 hp and ftlbs from log to log w/o changing anything. I'm going to use my dyno numbers to dial-in the DLL power graph settings after this weekend.

She's been to 3 dyno days actually in my Forster XT. It's easy with that car since I have a kiddy seat in the back. She's not a fan of the external gate on it though.

I'll see if I can work something out.
